Anoush Sadegh and Neumorphic AI Featured in Screen Daily at Cannes Film Market 2026
Screen Daily, one of the film industry’s most prestigious trade publications, featured CINEGENai™ Executive Producer Anoush Sadegh alongside Chuck Russell, Sam Khoze, and Erick Geisler of Neumorphic AI at a Cannes industry event hosted by Higgsfield and Goldfinch on May 16, 2026.
The event marked the unveiling of Higgsfield’s fully AI-generated feature Hell Grind, attended by the Neumorphic AI team who are developing two original AI-driven sci-fi features — Hyperia and b — in partnership with Higgsfield.
Neumorphic AI’s Hybrid Vision
Screen Daily reported that Chuck Russell’s Neumorphic AI — whose partners include producer Sam Khoze, VFX artist Erick Geisler, and Anoush Sadegh — is focused on hybrid production, combining live actors and traditional filmmaking with AI-generated environments, worlds, and visual scale.
“The holy grail is to use our actors and our artists, but to use all the advantages of AI that expands the imagination,” said Russell, comparing the current moment to the early days of CGI on The Mask.
“AI is a wild horse,” Russell added. “It will run away with your story if you don’t have discipline and learn how to use it properly. You need internal logic for the storytelling. And number one, you need the human touch.”
The Bigger Picture at Cannes 2026
The Cannes event represented a defining moment for AI-driven filmmaking. Higgsfield’s Hell Grind — a 95-minute action fantasy produced for under $500,000 — demonstrated that AI video technology can now support long-form genre storytelling at a fraction of traditional production costs.
For the Neumorphic AI team, the focus remains firmly on quality, discipline, and the irreplaceable human element behind every production — values that align directly with CINEGENai™’s approach to generative AI filmmaking.
